The entire Los Angeles Unified School system has closed for the day because of a bomb threat. This is the second largest School System in the country. The threat was received by e mail by a School Board Member early this morning. Now it appear today have come from an overseas account. And the new york city Public Schools system says they received the same threat they believed it was a hoax. Los angeles district superintendent Ramon Cortinez says the threat was made against students and not just the single campus. The decision to close came to the superintendent along with the Los Angeles Police department. Officials say in light of recent terror attacks abroad and at home, they are not taking any chances.
