(Photo: Nicole Ashley Allen Photography) Ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who went free in January after nearly eight years in federal prison, plans to marry Laticia Maria McGee this Saturday. Bishop J. Drew Sheard will officiate at the wedding at the Little Rock Baptist Church on Woodward in Detroit, where Kilpatrick, 51, delivered a sermon June 13. McGee started working as a receptionist in the mayor s office in 2002 at age 20 while Kipatrick was mayor. He tells Deadline Detroit he may have spoken to her once or twice, but had no relationship at the time. She stayed at city hall until 2004 and now runs a Detroit nonprofit focused on girls and women.
