WESTERN BUREAU: THE FATHER and a stepfather of two teenage boys who were alleged to have died during a police high-speed chase in Westmoreland are among family members and friends left grieving, and who vented their frustrations by mounting.
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica Residents in Little London, Westmoreland have mounted a roadblock in protest of the two teens who were allegedly killed during a police chase on Friday night. Observer Online understands that trees, burnt tyres, old appliances and other debris have been used to block the road metres away from the Little London Police Station. The main thoroughfare from Savanna-la-Mar to Negril is impassable. Reports are that 19-year-old Javian Black.
Angry residents of Little London, Westmoreland, this morning intensified their protest over the deaths of two teenage boys they say were killed during a police chase on Friday night, a claim the police have denied. The protesters used downed.
Ground is expected to be broken for the construction of the new Westmoreland Police Divisional Headquarters by year end. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security Dr Horace Chang. He was addressing journalists.
