Doctors missed multiple chances to diagnose a serious heart condition before it killed a young mum after she gave birth to a baby girl.
Susan McLoughlin, 33, suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after undergoing a caesarean section on October 21, 2019, leaving her devastated partner Jason McKevitt to raise their four children alone.
Nine days before her death Susan, from Netherton, had been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a rare and dangerous form of high blood pressure which damages the right side of the heart and arteries in the lungs. ....
