This spring, Ruthie Brown, a second-generation Aspenite, hosted a gathering for friends and family at her home near the base of Smuggler. The occasion was to bid farewell to her beloved abode while being surrounded.
4 Rivers Biennial Exhibition, a juried art show co-sponsored by The Sopris Sun, will open at the Aspen Chapel Gallery, on Wednesday, Feb. 7, with a reception for the artists from 5 to 7 p.m. The shoe runs through March 2.
