Amid COVID-19 pandemic, Tel Aviv marathon to go digital
The 2021 Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon will enable runners around the world to take part in the annual event virtually via a specialized app.

(January 18, 2021 / Israel21C) As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon is going both digital and global, and will be taking place wherever its participants choose via a specialized app. This app will allow them to run a local course designed especially for them according to the distance they wish to complete marathon, half-marathon, 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) or five kilometers (3.1 miles).
