The COVID-19 vaccine roll out in Waterloo Region has entered a new phase with doses being administered at local schools starting this week with the aim to immunize five to 11 year-olds before the holidays.
There were 21 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region Tuesday as the region announced more school-based vaccination clinics for children. As well, the region's updated vaccination dashboard showed 75 per cent of the region's population have both doses of the vaccine.
