Betty J. Blooflat Beloved friend and mother Betty Jean Blooflat was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ on April 25, 2021. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at First Lutheran Church, Bemidji with Pastor Linnea Papke-Larson officiating. A Time of Sharing will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Betty is survived by her children Allen (Rosa) Blooflat Jr., Daniel Blooflat, Kathy (Ed) Satko and Todd (Mary Jo) Blooflat; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen and her daughter Bonnie. As a beloved mother she prayed and supported her children faithfully. Her kind loving example left an example for all to follow. ....
Rev. Theodore Peterson Reverend Theodore B. Peterson, 87, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, January 15, 2021 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Drive – In Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the First Lutheran Church parking lot in Bemidji with Rev. Corey Fuhrman and Rev. Linnea Papke-Larson officiating. The service will be broadcast on a limited area radio frequency. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Reverend Theodore B. Peterson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1933 to John and Lilly Peterson. At age seven the family moved to Franklin, MN where he graduated from high school in 1951. Ted attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he met his future wife, Mildred. He graduated from Luther College in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. ....
