The Nelson Mandela Bay municipality has announced that a 48-hour water shutdown will be required from Tuesday after a burst cross connection on the bulk pipeline was identified on the Churchill system.

Linkside High judo pair not giving up, despite funding blow

Though funding shortages dashed the hopes of two Linkside High School pupils selected to compete in the Commonwealth Judo Championships in Malta last week, they are forging ahead, with their sights now set on the Africa Games in Cameroon in July.

Linkside decks the stage with Christmas carols

Two Linkside High School teachers will be spreading cheer through music with their inaugural Linkside Community Christmas concert on Friday. Well-known organist Antonio Lawack and mezzo-soprano Lucretia Sikwebu will host the event at the Trinity Baptist Church in Cape Road. Lawack and Sikwebu said bringing the concert to life in honour of the school and the greater community had been a team effort.
