And that is that we were all participants in an neh Summer Institute on veterans in society, ambiguities and representations. Think the subtitle there is incredibly important, right . Ambiguities and representations. It represents some of the confusion that might exist about who counts as a veteran, what it means to be a veteran, how that meaning has changed over time and how society has miss understand that change over time.
