Vermont s three presidential electors cast their ballots for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Monday morning on a day that ends the disputed 2020 campaign.
The three Terje Anderson, Linda Gravell and Kesha Ram are Democratic party activists, selected for the role back in September if the party s nominee won the state popular vote Nov. 3.Sign up for our Newsletters
Biden defeated Trump in Vermont by a wide margin 65% to 30%.
Under state law, the three electors were obligated to vote for Biden-Harris Monday, and did. The ceremony, held in the House chamber and overseen by Secretary of State Jim Condos, lasted all of eleven minutes.

Vermont casts 3 electoral votes for President-elect Biden

The representatives, members of the state’s Democratic Party, met at the Statehouse in Montpelier.
After being sworn in by Secretary of State Jim Condos, Terje Anderson, Linda Gravell and Kesha Ram signed the ballots and their certification of their ballots, which were then collected and given to Condos.
“I can report we have three votes for President-elect Biden and three votes for Vice-president-elect Kamala Harris,” Condos said after collecting and reading the ballots.
