Four dissertations drew extensive praise from our committee. Our deliberations were brief and without contention. One dissertation stood out for its decidedly unique focus. The winner of the 2019 dissertation award is dr. Mackey from Western Michigan University for his dissertation entitled a shrine for president lincoln.
