The City Council considered vacating a stretch of First Street so it can be moved inside the controversial Wilderness Crossing development adjacent to Wilderness Park and a Native sweat lodge.
The city is proposing a redevelopment plan to use tax-increment financing to loan money to homeowners in the Historic Hawley neighborhood to help preserve the history of the homes there.
MAK Development, which runs Michael House, sued the city and planning commission for denying a "reasonable accommodation" allowing them to operate a sober living house at 27th and Washington streets.
