Covid: Public Urged Not To Jeopardise Important Progress Made Health Minister Robin Swann is urging the public to not jeopardise the important progress made as Northern Ireland prepares to gradually ease out of lockdown restrictions.
The Minister said everyone has a key part to play in maintaining the progress achieved over recent months.
He said: The achievable goal - and the objective for us all - must be to exit lockdown on a sustainable basis. That will require continued caution and vigilance. Mixing without social distancing and throwing caution to the wind will have consequences. I support the Executive s decisions last week. As Health Minister, I am very conscious of the consequences of prolonged lockdown, not least for mental and physical well-being. I don t want us ever to have to go back there and working together we can shape the weeks and months ahead.

Applications Open To Over 1,100 Businesses For Grant Scheme Applications are now open to over 1,100 businesses across a wide range of sectors for a one-off £50,000 grant to help them with the impact of Covid-19.
The Large NAV Business Grant scheme being delivered by Land & Property Services will provide financial support to businesses occupying large commercial premises with a Net Annual Value (NAV) of over £51,000 and which also qualified for the 12 months rates holiday.
Encouraging eligible businesses to apply, Finance Minisster Conor Murphy said: Throughout the pandemic I have been determined to ensure that support reached as many businesses as possible. This new Grant Scheme will make available more than £50 million of financial assistance to hundreds of businesses across a wide range of sectors including childcare, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, tourism and leisure.
Child Rescue Alert Issued After Teen Goes Missing From Louth Police have issued a child rescue alert for a 14-year-old girl who went missing three days ago from County Louth.
Garda issued the alert following concerns there is an immediate and serious risk to the health or welfare of Svetlana Murphy.
The teenager left her house on the Coast Road in Blackrock at around 4pm on Monday with 18-year-old Nojus Maculevicius.
The pair, who are travelling in a silver Hyundai Veloster car with registration number 132-D-13518, were seen in Newry, Co Down, about 7pm that evening. The vehicle is also believed to have been in Belast just after 5.30pm on Wednesday.
