Singapore: Singapore to phase out bottled water at Govt meetings, cut on air conditioning

Singapore is implementing sustainability measures such as phasing out bottled water at meetings and maintaining indoor temperatures at 25 degrees Celsius in government buildings to reduce environmental impact, according to the GreenGov.SG report by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. While public sector emissions have decreased by 5.3% compared to the baseline year of FY2020, emissions are expected to rise with increased infrastructure construction until around 2025 before decreasing in line with the goal of achieving net-zero emissions around 2045.
