A DRIVE-IN church service is set to take place at Girlington Morrisons on Christmas Day. In a year that has tested both our faith and strength, Rev Chris Chorlton, the rector of Girlington, Heaton and Manningham parish, wanted to bring people of all ages together for prayers. The short outdoor service will start at 11am sharp and feature carols, a brass band and the chance for you to wave to loved ones from the safety of your car. Rev Chris Chorlton told the Telegraph & Argus: When everything is different this Christmas we wanted to offer a different service that was accessible to all - especially those who are shielding so haven t returned to Church yet. This short service will include carols and the opportunity to be together as a community on this special day.
