Third-grader raises money for Houma pharmacy that serves the needy The Courier and Daily Comet Lily LeBoeuf, a third-grader at St. Bernadette Elementary in Houma, held a fundraiser sale of Grinch popcorn and raised $766 for the St. Vincent de Paul Tri-Parish Pharmacy, which helps low-income residents get free medicine. Lily created two commercials, which her mother shared on social media, and asked family and friends if they’d like to purchase popcorn to support the pharmacy. Lily’s grandmother, Robin Braud, and great grandfather, E.J. Hebert, have been volunteering at the pharmacy since its opening in 2001. Their passion for the work inspired Lily to start the project. ....
