Four owners of local restaurants were charged with conspiracy to harbor undocumented workers while employing them, as well as conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to defraud the U.S.
The owners of several local Japanese restaurants have been charged in federal court with harboring undocumented workers, U.S. Attorney Mark H. Wildasin announced on Wednesday.
