Wrote a great piece about governor ron desantis, one of the questions for ron desantis is he s not a back slapper. he is not a gland hander. could he be more likable? it marys in politics especially with donors in a great column about a recent event. what was more of a thrill to the donors than spicy rigatoni. i want that so what happened during the dinner? desantis and his wife went table and table thanking the attendees. he s absorbed the critique about aloofness. to many listening, if you re trying to raise money in a crowded primary and convince trump donors, dump trump, come to me. you re spending a few minutes with them. all you see here is their individual attempts to try to carve out their own lane or distinguish themselves or address liabilities because former president trump consumed so much political oxygen. he just automatically gets attention for who he is. so desantis is trying to address the likability issue. ....
