CAP-K is continuing their LIHWAP program which assists Kern County residents pay off their water bills. A slow growing process at first that now has lines forming outside the door to apply.
The program is administered by the Wyoming Department of Family Services and provides one-time support to help low-income households pay current or past due residential water and sewer bills.
Pennsylvania is reopening the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) to help residents maintain access to drinking and wastewater services.
Georgia residents who need help with water bill payments can apply for federally funded support through the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program, or LIHWAP.
