Jagadish Jack Desai, who helped Indian immigrants bridge cultural divide to U.S., dies at 87

Jagadish Desai was always busy doing something, whether it was helping newly arrived immigrants from India get acclimated to life in Minnesota or bridging cultural differences by building a connection between his native and adopted countries.
He and his wife set up several academic scholarships and sponsored family members to come to the United States. Numerous foreign students even came to live in the Desai home.
Desai, remembered by loved ones as a fun, outgoing, giving person with an infectious smile who strongly believed in family, friends, and community, died of a stroke on June 29 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was 87. ....

NAIFA Leader Jack E. Bobo Dies

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors announced that Jack E. Bobo, CLU, FLMI, passed away on January 15, 2021, in Phoenix. Bobo was a legendary producer and leader in the life insurance industry who contributed the wealth of his talents and hard work to foster NAIFA’s success over several decades of his service.
Bobo was originally from South Carolina and upon his high school graduation enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He served during World War II and was an advanced flight instructor, according to the publication
