SOUTH BEND The South Bend Community School Corp. provided more details Wednesday about its board s recent approval of $400,000 in funding for summer programs provided by local community partners.
The South Bend school board on Monday night approved spending $400,000 of the district s anticipated $26.4 million in federal pandemic relief funding on community organizations who have proposed helping students this summer.
Nine groups were named in a contract approved by the school board, including one overseen by a school board member. ....
