The City of Austin and Waterloo Greenway Conservancy have partnered together to revitalize Waterloo Park! According to a press release from Waterloo Greenway, the highly-anticipated Waterloo Park and Moody Amphitheater will open to the public in August 2021. The brand new 11-acre green space to connect with nature in a downtown setting, socialize with neighbors, explore the 1.5 miles of hike-and-bike trails, and immerse themselves in musical, cultural, and performing arts experiences. The opening marks the completion of the first phase of Waterloo Greenway’s 35-acre connected urban park system, creating a new mobility corridor and a reactivated Waller Creek. ....
