I think we want to talk primarily, at least i want to talk primarily about modernization. We had a chance with dr. Hayden at the last meeting to talk about the Physical Plant ideas of how to make the library even more of an experience for people who visit there. Morning and thank you all for coming on behalf of the director i would like to welcome you to George Washington university. Today we want to launch a reported two years in the making titled extremism inside the englishspeaking Islamic State because chamber. In many ways like i said at the culmination of two years of research with a cooperation with the library and the Technology Group researchers to my left have been collecting and coding more than 600kilogram channels for about a year so today we are going to dive into those findings which are available on the website. We have three panelists here a Research Fellow with the program who will talk about the first half of the report and follow closely by the president ial followed the program to talk about the remaining parts of the report and to the director at the Mccain Institute at the counterterrorism. Confirmation but for talking about as you done in the past your work and theres just a lot of interest as you know from past hearings in this building about the library of congress especially now that people are going back in an entry of many visitors to the library again. Several senators, we had a dinner with bipartisan dinner last night and a number senators mentioned that they were fans of you and your work, including people from both sides of the aisle, so just putting that out there first. And i think ive mentioned this before. Maybe senator fischer doesnt know but my dream when i was growing up was to be a librarian. Yes, i actually had a duly system set up with the books that i read in a recipe box here but instead we are here. And we are here in fact, to discuss the Largest Library in the world and the oldest federal Cultural Institution in the united states, the library on congress. Two weeks ago the library celebrated its 223rd birthday, and as we know the library holds over
