Welcome. My name is Vivian Schiller and im the director of aspen digital. Were blunt glad you could be with us today. The New York Times bestseller list can often seem to be a veneer of the National Psyche and this year it seems to reflect a nation going through an awakening on matters of race. Books written by people of color and about matters of race and racism have filled those lists, both fiction and nonfiction. Thats the good news. People every day. Reject their new contract and create new legislation to defund thank you. Thank you, maam, for your comments. All right. We have 29 listeners and 12 speakers in the queue. Operations, lets hear from the next caller caller tonight im calling like so many of the other callers to object to the murderous, officials, and oppressive policing in this city, especially i wish we could change it. I dont exactly know the framework to have that conversation, but i know that our resources are misallocated and we have the resources to suppress a protest, but not see the future. When our food banks are begging for food and our nurses are begging for food and yet the police discussions of their vastly bloated budget to murderously oppress us are to be held behind closed doors. The discussion should be public. It should be our right as citizens to participate in is being renegotiated for three years behind closed doors . That alone is objectionable thank you for your comment. Operatio

Id say for my whole life im in my early 60s now, and its taken me that long to realize how my Mental Health and substance issues have impacted my life. I got clean and sober, didnt really address my Mental Health issues very well, so even though i was clean and sober, i would continue to still have issues and problems. And its only in the last, say, six, seven, or eight years that ive found Mental Health recovery thats been consistent. I believe in peer recovery, and the idea that a 12step recovery to me is about one alcoholic or an addict h
