Winner of five of its last six matches, Liberty will be back in action on Thursday and Saturday against a pair of Commonwealth opponents in Richmond and Radford. The Flames (6-4) and Richmond Spiders (1-2) will square off on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Liberty Tennis Complex. On Saturday, Liberty will host former Big South opponent Radford (2-0) at 1 p.m. Barring inclement weather, both matches will be played outdoors. Both matches will be contested on the stadium courts at the Liberty Tennis Complex. Liberty and Richmond last met on March 3, 2019 in a neutral-site evening contest at Boar s Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Va. The Flames won that match 4-3. ....

February 13, 2021 : By Office of Communications & Public Engagement/Liberty Athletics Liberty University’s newest athletics facility opened for the first time on Saturday. The Lady Flames tennis team had the honor of playing the first-ever match inside the 48,000-square foot Liberty Indoor Tennis Center and christened it in grand fashion with a 7-0 sweep over Davidson before following it up with a 6-1 win over Towson. The facility features six courts and seating for 100 fans. The building also houses team locker rooms, a team lounge, a laundry facility and a concessions area. The new center, coupled with the 12 outdoor courts, make up the Liberty Tennis Complex. ....
