A Bassetlaw man who punched a fellow drinker so hard he knocked him out and continued to beat him while he was unconscious will be sentenced at the crown court.
Ackers Lane and, inset, Chester Crown Court TWO suspects will stand trial next year after a reported stabbing. The 46-year-old victim suffered serious injuries to his upper body and leg after the incident on Ackers Lane in Stockton Heath on the afternoon of May 14. He was allegedly stabbed eight times and bitten on the calf by a dog during the attack. Taia Ryder, of Ackers Lane, has been charged with wounding with intent and being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog which caused injury over the altercation. Lewis Oxley, of Harding Avenue in Orford, faces charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
