Cooler weather and some showers make me feel like fall is quickly approaching. I see some leaves turning too, so I guess it’s time to give up on my spring projects. Summer barely waved as.
We’ve finally had some August temps, so it must be summer. The humidity has been quite high here in the usually low humidity country, so there’s been some fog. If the old timer’s 90 days.
Brisk fall days with cascading leaves are the norm now. I had to finally turn on the heat in my house as I was afraid my houseplants would freeze. Never mind that I hadn’t felt.

Wow. That wind was sure something, wasn’t it? There were too many fires, too much grass and timber burned. I’m sure sorry for losses that folks experienced. Thanksfully, no human lives, but livestock were lost. It’s just too early in the year for fire danger to be this high. Please pray fervantly for rain.
