Landin Bennett strung together a 3-for-5 performance at the plate with 3 RBIs to help the Marion Center Stingers defeat the Homer-Center Wildcats on Friday.
Homer-Center had an 8-7 lead after three innings, but the Stingers rallied back by mounting 5 runs in the final three innings to win. Bennett was helped by Ty Ryan, who went 2-for-4 with 3 runs on offense and struck out 8 Homer-Center hitters over 4.2 innings pitched.
Michael Krejocic and Andrew Ruddock each went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Wildcats.
The Stingers move to 3-1 on the season, while the Wildcats fall to 1-3. ....
