The mother and sister of a St Mary man who were charged in connection with his murder late last year, are still without legal representation. The duo - 63-year-old Leverana Forrester, otherwise called ‘Jemage’; and her daughter, 32-year-old Ann-Marie Forrester, otherwise called ‘Pinky’, both of Tank Lane, Oracabessa - appeared in the St Mary Parish Court on Thursday. The court has ordered that both women should be assigned legal aid attorneys. They were further remanded in custody until Thursday, February 18. Police blotters indicated that on Monday, December 28, Jerome Forrester was reported missing by his sister, and a search was launched for him. ....
Jerome Forrester Even as a mother and sister remain in police custody charged with the murder of their relative, at least three persons residing in St Mary are of the view that the alleged killers should not return to their home community of Tank Lane in Oracabessa, where the macabre-style killing occurred. And likewise, the St Mary residents believe the duo should not be granted bail by the court, despite them being nowhere near a trial for their alleged crimes.
