Just not ready?
So Edmonton’s esteemed Amerjeet Sohi is looking at becoming the mayor of Edmonton. He is an ex-city councillor and an ex-Liberal MP. Before Mr. Sohi became an MP he was just voted in as a city councillor, he then ran for the Liberal party of Canada and cost the Edmonton tax payers $300,000 for a byelection after he won the Liberal MP seat. Article content

I understand that the UCP realize there is probably not much hope of being re-elected (sadly, I’m an ashamed Conservative) but this is by far the worst decision they have made for themselves so far. I wonder how the friends and families of loved ones they have lost feel about their elected officials being too afraid to go to work in what is probably the safest environment in Alberta, during the largest public outbreak, yet are being neglect in protecting the very people who elected them by allowing protests and not fining repeat offenders; and new restrictions to be announced. Who advises these people? Is this the new aristocracy? Are their lives more important than ours? It would appear so. Also, charging Albertans to enjoy Kananaskis country when we were finally allowed outdoors again was a nice twist. I wish they would have just stayed on vacation. ....
