Really in for a dysfunctional and chaotic congress, because this republican party can simply not govern. it can t even do the simplest task of selecting a speaker during the course of an entire week. they bungled the whole 14th vote on friday night and i mean they miscounted it they literally thought they had a speaker when matt gates said they ll stood up in clap but they didn t realize that they had miscounted. so if this is a sign of what is to come, it is going to be frustrating and really just disheartening for the people who want results. speaking of the first i guess we will get a glimpse of that tomorrow with the rules package that is supposed to be passed. let me play for you what your party leader said about that process. look at your reaction to it. watch. well our general concern is that the dysfunction that was historic that we saw this week, is not at an end. it is just the beginning. ....

But eugene, i m curious to get your thoughts about the display that we saw this week broadly speaking. this idea that it is kind of good for democracy. is it good for democracy in that we see this infighting among parties out in full display, or can san juan arguably say, this was inviting but it wasn t about anything substantive, and still when we talk about laws and how log are made, american should be able to see that process but that is not what they were going to see going forward? yeah, i think that is true. what we saw was how this party is going to be able to operate when it is time to make laws, when it is time to decide the rules for congress and how they are going to operate. so that is, i do think that was a good thing? it was a good thing that much harder for republicans to say be in a lot of disarray, ....
