Gary Neville calls for Manchester United to be relegated after Super League talks emerge

Manchester United have reportedly agreed to attempt to launch European Super League that would be in direct competition with UEFA’s Champions League.
The FA, other European FAs, and UEFA have suggested that excommunication for players and clubs involved would be forthcoming, but Neville wants punishments to be dished out immediately, including fines and relegations.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said:
“The reaction to it is that it’s been damned and rightly so.
“I’m a Manchester United fan and have been for 40 years of my life but I’m disgusted, absolutely disgusted.

Gary Neville has called for Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal to be relegated if they were to join a European Super League.
The former Manchester United defender and England international also stated that the six English teams set to be part of the new breakaway league should be “punished heavily” with “massive fines and point deductions”.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville said: “They’ve got no loyalty to this country and these leagues. Enough is enough. There isn’t a football fan in this country that won’t be seething and shouldn’t be seething listening to this conversation and these announcements.
