Alleged Sugar Rush stabber indicted on murder, aggravated assault charges

A grand jury has indicted the alleged stabber that killed a man and seriously injured five others at the Sugar Rush Partyland on 4502 McPherson Road, the Webb County District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday.
Anthony Tays Jr., 18, was charged with one count of murder and five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison and a possible $10,000 fine. Tays is out on bond.
The grand jury also rendered a true bill for Lester Gerardo Herrera, 34, on the charge of deadly conduct. ....
