These campaigns start thinking about a transition of power. Guest it is an interesting history. Until 2010 there was no legal requirement for campaigns to prepare. In 2010 the president ial transition act passed. It provided that it was not just something they could do, it was a responsibility. Of candidates who are representing major parties to organize transitions. So, transitions generally start as early as april. Certainly by may, because there is just too much to do in organizing the National Government to do it in 75 days between the election and inauguration.
