GREENWICH It was unveiled to great fanfare in the summer of 2019, a major redevelopment plan that would provide a “Gateway to Greenwich.”
The Ashforth Co., owner of the downtown Greenwich Plaza, proposed a renovation and revitalization project that would include a new train station on each side of the tracks, a new transportation center, new commuter drop-off and pickup areas, new retail areas, including a luxury movie theater, and a public park in the landmark location in the central business district. ....
