Florists, chocolatiers and restaurants looked eagerly forward to Valentine’s Day, this coming Sunday. At Rooney s restaurant in Rochester, Valentine s Day is right up there with New Year s Eve for biggest nights of the year. The restaurant’s reservations are already completely booked for Valentine s this Sunday, and also Saturday. Owner Joe Squalli says he tries to keep the romantic ambiance. Rather than big sheets of plexiglass, the restaurant has tables labeled reserved which are really deliberately empty for social distancing. Squalli declared he’s relieved customers are coming back out, even if he can only take half as many with capacity limited to 50%. ....
