Parents of terminally ill killer doctor who murdered pediatrician apologize to her family

Dr. Bhurat Narumanchi, 43, killed Dr. Katherine Lindley Dodson, 43, on Tuesday
He had terminal cancer and had recently been given weeks to live
He took several hostages at the Children s Medical Group, including Dodson
The rest were spared but he killed Dodson and then shot himself
Now, his parents have extended their condolences to Dodson s family
They say they do not understand why it happened and are working with police
Dodson is survived by her husband Drew and their three young kids ....
