CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball program and head coach Shawn Poppie announced the signing of sophomore transfer student Hannah Kohn on Tuesday afternoon. Kohn, a transfer from Chattanooga who was selected as a 2024 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team honoree, transfers to Clemson as one of the best shooters in the nation. By percentage, Kohn is the best sharpshooter in the transfer portal. Kohn is one of three players in the nation to shoot over 46% from outside last season as she went on to set a school record for best single-season three-point percentage (.463) and set a program record for most three pointers made by a freshman (68). In the 2024 SoCon tournament, Kohn, who was selected to the All-Tournament Second Team, averaged 11 points per game, shot 61% from three-point land on 18 attempts, and averaged over three rebounds per contest. NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The No. 21/20 Clemson Tigers battled back from a four-run deficit, scoring five runs in the final two innings, but ultimately dropped the series finale to Notre Dame, 6-5. The Tigers move to 31-15 (13-8 ACC), while Notre Dame moves to 24-20 (8-13 ACC).Clemson finished the game with 10 hits, the 11th game in 2024 that the Tigers have tallied double-digit hits. Clemson, S.C. The championship match of the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Golf Tournament was halted by darkness on Sunday night. Wake Forest was declared the conference champion by virtue of its number-one seed at the end of stroke play on Saturday.All five matches between the Tigers and Demon Deacons had gone at least 14 holes when play was halted. Wake Forest, ranked as the number-three team in the nation by Spikemark, had a 1-0 lead by virtue of winning the only completed match.
