Heavy rains had ended just a short while before the little bistro on St. Michael Street opened, yet it was packed. Latecomers waited as staff wiped puddles off the tables and chairs on the sidewalk and then settled into still-damp seats.
People ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai Nachos and the Pho and the Gulf Crab Parmesan Cheese Fries and the Banh Mi Tacos and the Vietnamese Po-Boy and the Gulf Shrimp & Cheese Grits with Crawfish Creole Sauce.
