A 34-year-old woman from Emmeloord whose baby was bitten to death by a dog in August will be prosecuted. The dog, which is a mix of an American Staffordshire terrier and a pitbull, has been put down.The woman is being charged with "culpable homicide and failure to ensure that a dangerous animal is kept harmless," a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service said. The spokesperson confirmed earlier reporting by regional broadcaster Omroep Flevoland.
