SIX students linked arms on the stage as they watched more than a decade of their dedication to dance play out on the big screen before their loved ones.
Moments before they had performed for the last time as family members of the Leisa Payne School of Dance.
They were all just in tears, dance school owner Leisa Payne said.
That bond, I don t know how to explain it, it s just unreal.
Ms Payne said her graduates had come to spend more time at the dance school than they had their own families.
For many, this year was an extra emotional farewell as COVID restrictions booted parents out of the changing rooms and into the audience. ....
