Life Encounters explores New York City Club Dance styles through treasured memories from Burnett s own life with a cast of illustrious dancers including Abdiel Jacobsen, Princess Lockerkoo, Ephrat Asherie, Samara Cohen, Maya Llanos, and Deandre Browne. Jacob’s Pillow has announced details of a reimagined summer dance festival that takes a hybrid approach, including both on-site and online programming. A full lineup of outdoor shows, talks and classes will take place at the Pillow campus in Becket, Mass., June 30 to Aug. 29, with online versions of the performances premiering soon after and streaming through Sept. 23. Tickets go on sale June 1, and a free, virtual opening gala is set for June 12. ....
