Legazpi to penalize irresponsible pet owners under new ordinance

Pet lovers in Legazpi City who allow their pets to roam the city streets will be penalized under an ordinance promoting responsible pet ownership that has been approved by the Legazpi City Council. City Veterinary Office chief, Dr. Emmanuel Estipona, said Tuesday (Aug. 23, 2022) deputized agents would conduct house-to-house monitoring and orientation to inform pet owners about the provisions of the ordinance.
