A traffic stop on Fischer Avenue in The Pas led to the seizure of drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash.
RCMP say on Wednesday (Mar. 3), a check of the suspect vehicle revealed it was unregistered, and the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle admitted to not having his driver’s license with him.
After noticing a beer can in the middle console, a further search turned up a large plastic bag of cannabis, several bags of what’s believed to be crystal meth, cocaine and heroine, a large sum of cash and drug paraphernalia.
34-year-old Henry Johnathon Jackson, of Portage la Prairie, is facing multiple charges, including Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Obstructing a Police Officer, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possess Cannabis not Legally Stamped and several charges under the Highway Traffic Act. ....
