Restoration project to save a local landmark seeks funds

SALINE COUNTY (WSIL) A local community is working to save a piece of their history with the restoration of one of the oldest surviving Church structures in Southern Illinois.
Members of a group of volunteers who started a Restoration Fund to save Wolf Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Eldorado, say the church is a landmark in the surrounding community. It s looking pretty rough, it needs definitely some tender loving care, but it s not as bad as what we thought it was, it s definitely savable, explains Grant Loudy. He setup a Go Fund Me page to offset the cost of materials to restore the structure.
