The sophomore pacing colts and geldings of the Ontario Sires Stakes program made their final appearances in Grassroots preliminary action on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, looking for some strong efforts heading into the semi-final round in two weeks time.
Woodbine Mohawk Park featured three $22,200 Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots divisions as the fourth leg of the series for sophomore colt and gelding pacers on Thursday (Aug. 31) evening and Winmebak headlined the series action on the card.
