several hours to get a closer look at the destruction. also the middle of the damage, charles watson for we in mississippi what is the latest? surveying for a couple hours now and it s hard to believe all the destruction we are seeing. a lot when tornado hit but it doesn t look like a bomb hit, take a look at the level of destruction. tons of tree branches down, large trees. look at this house, you can see folks beginning what is expected to be a lengthy cleanup. we spoke to one of the folks who live over there who told us there carport was lifted up and detached from the home so that s what those folks are dealing with over there. the street you can see a lot of debris hanging around for folks to clean up. we ve seen folks in the streets in this particular community working as fast as they can to try to clean some of this stuff up so they can get roadways clear so folks can get to their properties to assess the damage but a simple look and you know it s going to take folks
