Schools in counties on the states covid watch list are not going to be able to reopen until theyre able to reduce their numbers of cases for 14 consecutive days and so far that effects 43 of 58 counties. When schools do reopen most of the students will have to wear masks. The governor says california is the first state to explicitly have this kind of max mandate.
