This vintage rv is home. I didnt plan on living here. I just, lost my job, about a year and a half ago. And i couldnt find a place that i could afford. Hes not alone. We counted six rvs parked on this street on thursday. The city wants them to leave. We are good people. You know, i work every day. The Mayors Office tells us they are giving rv owners until march 28th to remove their vehicles. San franciscos transportation code prevents any vehicle from being parked on a street for more than 72 hours. Its a great spot. I can understand why theyre here, but its limited parking. The Mayors Office says that parking these large vehicles along this windy, narrow road is dangerous, and that the raw sewage being dumped here is a safety hazard.
